| Most quality, professional DJ's will get booked quickly. We suggest for weddings to start looking as early as 12 months in advance to get the DJ you want, for the date you want. Three to six months for most other types of events. Although we prefer as much time as possible to plan your event, we have taken events as late as the same day. | |||||

| DJ's Northwest does offers a wide variety of packages with standardized pricing, primarily for the purposes of giving you an idea of what you can expect to get with us. | Once we have received a signed agreement and the required deposit is received, your date is booked and reserved. | |||||

| We do have party props available upon request. Hula Hoops and Limbo sticks for example are standard with events such as Family Fun Nights and PTA Parties. | |||||

| Can we request music that we want played at our event? -Return to Top- | |||||
| With out a doubt! DJ’s Northwest offers a huge music selection that allows for on the spot requests at the event. But in addition to that, we also have a whole online music request system that will allow you to select music, save and go back and add more music later. This way, when you hear that song on the radio you really want played, you will be able to go back and add it. And yes with in the same system, you even have the opportunity to tell us if there is any music you absolutely do not want to hear either! | |||||
| Are you going to be the DJ for our event, or will another DJ be sent? -Return to Top- | |||||
| When Eddie the owner of DJ’s Northwest meets with you, he will tell you at that point who the DJ will be for your event. Eddie always books himself first, so if you are the first to book a certain date, then Eddie will be your DJ. Once he has committed to an event, there is no changing, he will not decide to give your event to a different DJ because something else different has come along (The exception to this would be for an emergency, which you may refer to the Event Contract for more information). Once Eddie is booked then he will book other DJ’s as appropriate, according to your needs and the DJ that will best fit. Either way, by the time you have completed your first meeting you will absolutely know who will be the DJ at your event. | |||||

| Before an Event agreement is signed all of the prices will be explained in full for the entire event. That would include any travel and add on’s you may have selected. We are even upfront about over time costs, which you can decide at the event if you want to exercise that option. | |||||

| Over the years we have done literally shows then we can count, everything from weddings, corporate events, schools, holiday parties, grand openings, anniversaries, reunion’s and much more. We pride ourselves on planning ahead and knowing the event so well that when we walk in, we own it! YES WE TAKE THAT MUCH PRIDE IN WHAT WE DO! | |||||

| At DJ’s Northwest, we love what we do….and what we do is play music and have people dance, so if we are at a rockin’ event and everyone is having a good time… truth is we are probably having as much fun as your guests…you bet we will do overtime! For a predetermined hourly rate, you can decide near the end of the event if you would like it to keep going. | |||||

| All potential clients have the opportunity to meet Eddie the owner of DJ’s Northwest on the phone, via email or in person prior to signing any contracts. If Eddie is booked for your date and another DJ will be assigned to your event, you will have the opportunity to meet that DJ in person before entering in to contract with DJ’s Northwest. We also offer a final meeting with wedding packages to make sure that you and the DJ have an opportunity to go over any final arrangements for your big day. Generally we like to meet in neutral locations such as coffee shops that are convenient for you. | |||||

| In the rare event that emergency does come up, a professional and qualified DJ will take the place of your original DJ. Please refer to our Event Contract for more details. And Yes just because your event may fall during a busy season, we do have reserve DJ. | |||||
| What are your payment and booking terms? -Return to Top- | |||||
| In order to reserve your date a signed contract and a $300 retainer (amount is applied to total cost)is required before we can lock in the date and guarantee our services for you. The balance owing is required the day of the event. If the same date is requested by more then one client then we prioritize the events by when we received the signed contract and retainer fee. We accept several forms of payment to include checks, cashier checks, cash, or you may also choose to pay with VISA or MasterCard. | |||||

| Your signed contract is required to come back with the deposit before we can lock in and reserve your date. | |||||
| What regions do you work in? -Return to Top- | |||||
| We cover the Greater Puget Sound area travel in these areas regularly. However we have traveled to most of Western Washington, going as far south as Portland, OR, as far north as Blaine, as far east as Ellensburg, and as far west as the Pacific Ocean at Long beach. And we have gone as far northwest as Port Angelis. Please note there may be travel fees discussed for some of the events further from our home base. | |||||
| Am I expected to Tip the DJ? -Return to Top- | |||||
| Surprisingly we get this question a lot, the short answer is NO of course not! We believe that people should only tip when they feel it is deserved and earned, it is not an automatic. So we never expect tips. That being said, if we have exceeded your expectations and you would like to show your gratitude we will always be delighted that you showed your appreciation. | |||||
| Will I pay more if I book at the last minute? -Return to Top- | |||||
| Simply put NO! Are pricing is determined by several elements, but how soon or late you book is not one of them. If we are available to do your show, then we are available, and we see no reason to charge you more just because of short notice. We have heard of other companies that will take advantage of an emergency (i.e. a DJ doesn’t show up, or backs out at the last minute) and charge more because of it. For us it is pretty simple we can either do it or we can’t, if we can, you will pay the same price as if you came to us months prior. Granted we always like as much time as possible to plan to make sure your event exceeds your expectations! | |||||
